The Lodge

The lodge rooms of the German-speaking lodge "Zur alten Linde" are also being used by the lodge Forget Me Not, founded in 2009. Twenty-one brothers—four Germans and seventeen Britons—were involved in its founding. Like the lodge "Zur alten Linde", Forget Me Not works according to the rules of the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Germany (AFuAM), but in the English language. Since then, more members have joined. Forget Me Not thus demonstrates how, in the age of globalization, Masonic life in Dortmund is developing positively and, in the spirit of international brotherhood, seeks to establish new communities together with brothers from other countries.
