The famous statue of Giordano Bruno in Rome's Campo de' Fiori was designed and created by Most Worshipful Brother Ettore Ferrari, Grand Master of the Grande Oriente d'Italia.

The statue, located in the exact place Bruno was executed on February 17th, 1600. (Campo de' Fiori is Italian for 'Field of the Flowers' and was a market square at the time ) was created in 1889.

The inscription on the base reads: A BRUNO - IL SECOLO DA LUI DIVINATO - QUI DOVE IL ROGO ARSE "To Bruno - the century predicted by him - here where the fire burned"
