Die Loge "Le Progres De l'Oceanie" wurde im Jahr 1841 gebildet im System der Grand Lodge of France und unter der Schirmherrschaft des A. & A. Schottischen Ritus des Supreme Council von Frankreich im Schiffsausstatter-Laden von Kapitän Jules Dudoit, welcher zu dieser Zeit der französische Konsul war, gegründet.

Konstituiert wurde sie am 8. April 1843, während der Periode der Britischen Besatzung, von Joseph-Marie Le Tellier, welcher Kapitän des französischen Walfängers "Ajax" war, der sein Schiff in den Hafen von Honolulu segelte um größere Reparaturen daran vornehmen zu lassen.

Formed in 1841 under dispensation from the Grand Lodge of France, Lodge was instituted under the auspices of the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite of the Supreme Council of France in the ship supply store of Captain Jules Dudoit, who was the French Consul at the time.

Le Progres was constituted April 8, 1843, during the period of British occupation, by Joseph-Marie Le Tellier, the Captain of the French whaler Ajax who sailed his ship into Honolulu Harbor to have major repair work done on the vessel.
