First and foremost German Lodge Master has a face
Since 5th December 2015, the first and foremost German Lodge Master Georg Wilhelm Ludwig von Oberg has a face. The commission for a painting of Lodge "[Absalom zu den drei Nesseln]" in the Orient of Hamburg (Matriculation no. 1) was preceded by conscientious research for the world's largest Masonic Encyclopedia (www.freimaurer-wiki.de). A contemporary pastel drawing of the aristocratic Worshipful Master Georg Wilhelm Ludwig von Oberg was congenially realized in an oil painting on canvas by the artist Jens Rusch, who is also a Freemason.
